On the one hand, an individual per couple travel-formula to Kinshasa, the capital of Congo, and on the other hand, more adventurous tours in group to Kinshasa and the interior of the country. These tours are built to reflect the spirit of Eco-tourism. You will enjoy close encounters with the abundant nature and local culture. |

VISIT THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO AND EXPERIENCE A COLOSSAL ADVENTURE IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF DR. STANLEY AND DR. LIVINGSTONE 1.Citytrip Kinshasa : 7 days / 6 nights. Travel-formula : Individual per couple or in group. Exploration of Kinshasa and its surroundings at your own pace. During your stay you will have a jeep and driver at your disposal, as well as your personal guide.You are able to make up your personal program. You can stay in a luxury hotel or a private villa as well as in a low budget hotel. Several excursions possible. 2.Nioki tour : 14 days / 12 nights. Travel-formula : in group 16 – 20 persons.You fly out to Nioki and return by large motorized dugout canoes over the rivers.You will visit small fishermen ’s communities as well as larger villages along the way. Nature can be explored during hikes into the rainforest and savannah. You stay in small local hotels and enjoy local food-specialties. 3.Bandundu tour : 21 days / 19 nights. Travel-formula : in group 16 – 20 persons.You fly out to Bandundu, a city that still keeps the earmarks of a typical African village : unpaved streets, concrete buildings and supermarkets conspicious by their absence.After exploring the Bandundu area we continue by jeep to Nioki. 4.Kwango tour : 14 days / 12 nights. Travel-formula : in group 16 – 20 persons. From “ Pont Kwango “ you descent the Kwango river in dugout canoes untill Bandundu. In the mornings you can participate in a trip on foot through the savannah or the forest with local hunters in search of wild animals : wild boars, antelopes, monkeys, hippopotamuses, crocodiles and lots of birds. You stay in tents. In the evenings you will be able to savor your the Congolese beer, around an open fire. 5.Kiri tour: 14 days / 12 nights. Travel-formula : in group 16 – 20 persons. You fly out to Kiri, 800 km from Kinshasa in the middle of the rainforest. You will visit small pygmy communities. A local pygmy guide will take you into the forest in search of antelopes, bonobo’s, snakes, crocodiles and mosquitos. The lush forest and the way of living of the local population in harmony with nature, will leave you with a profound impression of the tropical rainforest. |
